Altinkum translated means “Golden Sands” – what an appropriate name! There are 3 Blue Flag Beaches, a prestigious, international award scheme which acts as a guarantee to tourists that a beach or marina they are visiting is one of the best in the world. They all slope gently and are very safe for families with children.
There is a wide variety to eat delicious food in Didim. You can taste various popular cuisines here. You'll be offered Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Thai and European cooking and Turkish food from simple meals to gourmet feasts.

Altinkum also has a main shopping centre where you can stock up on clothes, shoes, handbags and perfume.
Altinkum, there's more nightlife in Altinkum than there is in Didim for those who want to dance the night away in a lively club. Its always nice to have a slow walk down by the yacht marina with the boats bobbing up and down and the bars, bistros lining at beach front near Altinkum Marina, where all the daily boat trips leave every morning in Altinkum. These bars tend to be quite lively and open till late so if you fancy a dance, night out, you wont be dissapointed in Altinkum Didim.
